Design of a ZnS/CdS/rGO composite nanosheet photocatalyst with multi-interface electron transfer for high conversion of CO2

Mengyang Xu et al.

Summary: Constructing a multi-interface electron transfer path through engineered ZnS/CdS NSs heterojunction on rGO surface improved the migration rate of photogenerated electrons, resulting in excellent CO2 reduction performance and stability of the photocatalyst. The photocatalyst exhibited a significantly higher CO yield compared to pure ZnS NSs and maintained favorable stability after multiple cycles. Additionally, the possible reaction mechanism was discussed in detail.
