Amplified Spontaneous Emission with a Low Threshold from Quasi-2D Perovskite Films via Phase Engineering and Surface Passivation

Jingzhen Li et al.

Summary: This research proposes an anti-solvent treatment strategy to regulate the phase components and surface morphology of quasi-2D perovskite films, and introduces an additional coating to reduce surface defects. Excellent amplified spontaneous emission and two-photon-pumped emission are achieved through these methods.

Giant magneto field effect in up-conversion amplified spontaneous emission via spatially extended states in organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites

Tangyao Shen et al.

Summary: This paper reports an easily accessible up-conversion amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) in organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites films by optically exciting broad gap states with sub-bandgap laser excitation. The study demonstrates a large optical cross section of multiphoton excitation occurring in such hybrid perovskite films, and shows significant spectral narrowing phenomenon at moderate pumping intensity. Additionally, the up-conversion ASE exhibited a giant magnetic field effect, while the upconversion photoluminescence showed a negligible magnetic field effect, indicating the development of coherent in-phase interaction in spatially extended light-emitting states.

Air-Processed MAPbBr3 Perovskite Thin Film with Ultrastability and Enhanced Amplified Spontaneous Emission

Zhujun Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, high-quality MAPbBr(3) perovskite thin films were successfully prepared using ionic liquid solvent methylammonium acetate (MAAc), leading to excellent amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) performance. Compared to traditional solvent processing methods, the films prepared with MAAc showed better optical stability.

Aligning Transition Dipole Moment toward Light Amplification and Polarized Emission in Hybrid Perovskites

Jiajun Qin et al.

Summary: The research explores a method to manipulate TDMs in organic-inorganic hybrid perovskites, showing enhanced emission and evidence of amplified spontaneous emission. Altering grain boundary defects leads to increased polarization at the film edge, reducing the ASE threshold.
