Electrostatic-induced green and precise growth of model catalysts

Summary: Controlling the structure of crystals is crucial for the development of sustainable chemistry. In this study, precise structure control of ionic crystals was achieved by introducing an interfacial electrostatic field. By modulating the polarization level, oriented growth of crystals was realized, resulting in facet-dependent catalysis. The obtained catalysts exhibited excellent performance in photocatalytic reactions and nitrogen fixation.
