Summary: This research developed a self-powered solar-blind ultraviolet (UV) photodetector using a dual-source vapor codeposition technique to prepare nontoxic copper halide Cs3Cu,I-5, which was integrated with a fi-Ga2O3 wafer to construct a type-II heterojunction. The device demonstrated a good solar-blind UV response property, low dark current, high rejection ratio, fast photoresponse speed, and high photo-to-dark current ratio. Furthermore, the photodetection ability of the device was maintained even after continuous working and storage in ambient air, indicating outstanding air stability.
