Highly sensitive detection of okadaic acid in seawater by magnetic solid-phase extraction based on low-cost metal/nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes

Summary: In this study, magnetic metal/nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes (M-NCNTs) were synthesized and applied for magnetic solid-phase extraction of okadaic acid (OA) from seawater. Ni-NCNTs showed the best extraction performance due to its higher specific surface area, suitable pore structure, and abundant pyridine nitrogen ring. The developed method demonstrated good sensitivity and reliability, and it is expected to be extended for the detection of other marine environmental pollutions.

Summary: In this work, a flower-like Co3O4/C3N5 composite was developed as a solid-phase microextraction fiber coating for the extraction of PAHs and PCBs. The composite exhibited improved adsorption performances compared to pure monomer materials. The developed method showed wide linear range, low detection limits, and good repeatability, and was successfully applied to real water samples.

Summary: In this study, electro-enhanced solid-phase microextraction (EE-SPME) and covalent organic framework (COF) were employed to enhance the extraction efficiency of bisphenol A (BPA). The DQTP bonded fiber coupled with EE-SPME device showed higher extraction efficiency compared to conventional SPME. Quantitative determination of BPA in food packagings was achieved with recoveries ranging from 88.6 to 118.0%.

Construction of hypercrosslinked polymers for high-performance solid phase microextraction of phthalate esters from water samples

Facile mechanochemistry synthesis of magnetic covalent organic framework composites for efficient extraction of microcystins in lake water samples
