All Solution-Processed High Performance Pure-Blue Perovskite Quantum-Dot Light-Emitting Diodes

Aqiang Liu et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates highly efficient and stable pure-blue perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) achieved through an all-solution process. By using difunctional zinc oxide (D-ZnO) nanocrystals, the damaged perovskite surface is repaired and balanced charge injection is achieved to improve the luminous efficiency. The fabricated PeLEDs showed pure-blue emission at a wavelength of 470 nm, with high luminance and external quantum efficiency, as well as a long continuous operation time.

High-Efficiency Pure-Red Perovskite Quantum-Dot Light-Emitting Diodes

Mingyuan Xie et al.

Summary: This study presents a solution to achieve high-efficiency pure-red perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) by stabilizing the structure of quantum dots and reducing adverse effects. The use of composite ligands helped stabilize the strong-confined quantum dots and suppress Auger recombination in the devices. Additionally, adjustments in the valence band of the quantum dots improved charge injection balance in the PeLEDs.

Improved performance of CsPbBr3 quantum-dot light-emitting diodes by bottom interface modification

Yang-Yang Zhao et al.

Summary: Researchers demonstrated a simple approach to improve the performance of perovskite quantum-dot-based light-emitting diodes (Pe QLEDs) by introducing a polymer interface modification layer. The modification reduced defects and luminance quenching at the interface. As a result, the modified QLEDs showed significant improvements in maximum luminance, external quantum efficiency, and current efficiency compared to devices without the modification.

Boosting the efficiency and stability of green InP quantum dot light emitting diodes by interface dipole modulation

Yimin Wang et al.

Summary: The interface states of quantum dot-based light emitting diodes can be significantly affected by the introduction of a dielectric interlayer. In this study, a phenylethylammonium bromide (PEABr):methylammonium bromine (MABr) interlayer was used in indium phosphide (InP) QLEDs to modulate interfacial charge transfer and enhance charge balance. The utilization of this interlayer resulted in improved efficiency and operational lifetime of the QLEDs.
