Hierarchical nanofibrous mat via water-assisted electrospinning for self-powered ultrasensitive vibration sensors

Shuo Wang et al.

Summary: This study reports a water-assisted electrospinning approach to fabricate hierarchical morphology mats (HMMs), and successfully tunes the forming and growth process of HMMs, achieving surface patterning. Single-electrode TENGs (H-S-TENGs) assembled with HMMs exhibit high output performance and good stability. Based on H-S-TENGs, a self-powered ultrasensitive vibration sensor (SUVS) is developed, enabling precise detection of pulse waves from different arteries and identification of vibration spectra from different guitar strings.
