A Comparative Immunohistochemical Study of Wound Healing after Dental Diode Laser Treatment in the Rat Oral Mucosa

Summary: This study examined the healing patterns of dental diode lasers and a steel scalpel in periodontal surgery. The results showed that laser-treated wounds had slower healing rates compared to scalpel-treated wounds, but no significant difference was observed in histological and immunohistochemical analysis between the laser and scalpel groups.

Effect of the Acid-Etching on Grit-Blasted Dental Implants to Improve Osseointegration: Histomorphometric Analysis of the Bone-Implant Contact in the Rabbit Tibia Model

Summary: The study evaluated osseointegration of two different titanium dental implant surfaces in rabbit tibia, finding no significant differences in roughness measurements between the two treatments. However, acid etching improved surface hydrophilicity and increased bone-to-implant contact ratio. Resonance frequency analysis showed similar behavior between the two surfaces in terms of BIC values and implant stability.
