Social support as a mediator of stress and life satisfaction for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic

Psychological resilience of emergency nurses during COVID-19 epidemic in Shanghai: A qualitative study

Summary: This study aimed to understand the perception and psychological resilience of emergency nurses (ENs) in Shanghai during the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as their coping strategies. The findings revealed that psychological resilience of ENs is influenced by internal and external factors, and enhancing it can improve job satisfaction and public health emergency response. Adequate preparation, reasonable work arrangement, a trustworthy working atmosphere, encouragement and improvement of coping strategies, timely rewards and nurse empowerment, as well as counseling and training, can be utilized to enhance the psychological resilience of ENs.
