Aspergillus spp. osteoarticular infections: an updated systematic review on the diagnosis, treatment and outcomes of 186 confirmed cases

Summary: This review investigates the management of Aspergillus spp. osteoarticular infections. The study shows that surgical debridement in addition to antifungal therapy improves infection eradication. Antifungal monotherapy has similar efficacy with combination/sequential therapy, and voriconazole has similar efficacy with amphotericin B.
