Among the composites, ZVO/SGN exhibits the highest selectivity and sensitivity.

Application of a Tetraamino Cobalt(II) Phthalocyanine Modified Screen Printed Carbon Electrode for the Sensitive Electrochemical Determination of L-dopa in Pharmaceutical and Biological Samples

Summary: A novel tetraamino cobalt(II) phthalocyanine monomer was used for the fabrication of a disposable electrochemical sensor, which showed satisfactory results for the determination of L-dopa in pharmaceutical tablets, urine, and whole blood samples. The sensor exhibited good response towards the electrooxidation of L-dopa in different buffer media, with detection limits of 0.03 μmol L-1 and 0.33 μmol L-1 in specific pH conditions.
