Determination of Ascorbic Acid in Pharmaceuticals and Food Supplements with the New Potassium Ferrocyanide-Doped Polypyrrole-Modified Platinum Electrode Sensor

Ancuta Dinu et al.

Summary: This study reports the determination of ascorbic acid using platinum-based voltammetric sensors modified with potassium hexacyanoferrate-doped polypyrrole. The modified electrodes showed excellent sensitivity for ascorbic acid detection, with a detection limit of 2.5×10(-7) M. The analyses of pharmaceutical products with different concentrations of ascorbic acid validated the accuracy of the method.

Construction of a non-enzymatic electrochemical sensor based on CuO/g-C3N4 composite for selective detection of hydrogen peroxide

Keziban Atacan et al.

Summary: In this study, a CuO/g-C3N4 electrochemical sensor was successfully prepared and investigated on a glassy carbon electrode for hydrogen peroxide detection. The sensor showed a linear response for hydrogen peroxide within a range of 0.5-50 μM with a detection limit of 0.31 μM. Additionally, the sensor was also utilized for the determination of hydrogen peroxide in makeup remover as a real sample.
