Influence of Chinese National Centralized Drug Procurement on the price of policy-related drugs: an interrupted time series analysis

Summary: This study examined the impact of China's 4 + 7 policy on drug prices using data from the Centralized Drug Procurement Survey in Shenzhen 2019. The results showed a significant decrease in the Drug Price Index (DPI) for both winning and non-winning products related to the policy, as well as a decreasing trend in alternative drugs. Overall, the DPI of policy-related drugs decreased significantly after the implementation of the 4 + 7 policy.
