Factors Associated with Compliance to the Hospital Price Transparency Final Rule: a National Landscape Study

However, as of June 1, 2021, 55% of hospitals had not complied, with wide variations across states and hospital regions. Compliant hospitals tend to have better resources and expertise for implementation, indicating that compliance costs may be a barrier for some hospitals.
