Tadesse Tolossa et al.

Summary: A study conducted in Nekemte Public Health facilities found that factors associated with HIV status disclosure among pregnant and lactating women included residing in urban areas, being married, having higher educational status, having a partner with positive HIV status, and being multipara. Empowering women through education, encouraging partners for HIV testing, and enhancing male involvement in HIV treatment programs are important strategies to improve HIV status disclosure rates in the study area.
