Prevalence of oral lichen planus in patients with diabetes mellitus: A cross-sectional study

Quality of Life and Psychopathology in Lichen Planus: A Neglected Disease Burden

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the disease burden and impact on quality of life for patients with lichen planus. The results showed that lichen planus had a significant effect on patients' quality of life, with higher impacts observed in cases of genital, ungual, and cutaneous lichen planus. Depression symptoms were also prevalent in a significant portion of patients, highlighting the importance of addressing mental health in conjunction with managing the physical symptoms of lichen planus.
