Summary: A peptide B1CTcu3 derived from the skin secretion of Clinotarsus curtipes frog exhibited broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). It also showed anti-biofilm activity and could induce pores on the bacterial cell membrane, suggesting a membranolytic mechanism. Additionally, it exhibited cytotoxicity against MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells.
