An electrochemical method for determination of amaranth in drinks using functionalized graphene oxide/chitosan/ionic liquid nanocomposite supported nanoporous gold

Summary: An electrochemical sensor was developed by modifying a nanoporous gold-coated glassy carbon electrode with functionalized graphene oxide/chitosan/ionic liquid nanocomposites. The sensor showed excellent analytical performance for detecting Amaranth, with high sensitivity and selectivity, reproducibility, and long-time stability. Practical application in detecting Amaranth in different drinks showed satisfactory results.

Patulin Imprinted Nanoparticles Decorated Surface Plasmon Resonance Chips for Patulin Detection

Summary: In this study, patulin imprinted and non-imprinted nanoparticles were synthesized and attached to the surface of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) chips, allowing for detection and characterization of patulin. Kinetic studies revealed the limit of detection and quantification values, as well as the response time. Selectivity studies were conducted in the presence of other toxins, demonstrating the applicability of the patulin imprinted SPR nanosensor.
