The Estimation of Genetic Parameters for Longevity According to Lactation Period Using a Multiple Trait Animal Model in Korean Holstein Cows

It is difficult to select for due to low heritability and various influencing factors. Survival analysis is the optimal model to evaluate longevity, with heritability ranging from 0.01-0.30, and there are low to medium genetic correlations between longevity and other traits.
