Bacterial Pneumonia in Captive Wild Boars in Southern Brazil - Etiological and Pathological Causes

Results showed a high prevalence of pneumonia, with common pathogens including M. hyopneumoniae, A. pleuropneumoniae, and S. suis. The findings suggest that the close phylogenetic relationship between wild boars and domestic pigs may influence their susceptibility to similar respiratory diseases.
