MoS2 Sphere/2D S-Ti3C2 MXene Nanocatalysts on Laser-Induced Graphene Electrodes for Hazardous Aristolochic Acid and Roxarsone Electrochemical Detection

Umamaheswari Rajaji et al.

Summary: In this study, a novel synthesis protocol for MoS2/S-Ti3C2 nanocatalyst was proposed and successfully demonstrated. The electrochemical activity of different quantities of the nanocatalyst was investigated, and it was found that 8 μL of MoS2/S-Ti3C2 exhibited the highest activity. The MoS2/S-Ti3C2/LGE sensor showed high sensitivity and low detection limit for the detection of hazardous compounds.

Blood norepinephrine/epinephrine/dopamine measurements in 108 patients with takotsubo syndrome from the world literature: pathophysiological implications

John E. Madias

Summary: The levels of NE, EPI, and DA rise proportionally in patients with TTS; CATs are usually mildly/moderately elevated, with only a few showing markedly high levels; there should be a more systematic approach to measuring CATs; although not essential for TTS diagnosis, CATs may play a role in prognosis and understanding the pathophysiology of TTS.

Partially Functional Electrode Modifications for Rapid Detection of Dopamine in Urine

Rajendra P. Shukla et al.

Summary: This study introduces a novel sensing electrodes array modified with biopolymer chitosan and electrocatalytic carbon nanotube films for rapid analysis of neurotransmitter dopamine levels in urine. The feasibility of quantifying dopamine levels from unprocessed urine samples is demonstrated, potentially providing better tools for differentiating redox molecules in highly complex biofluids.

Nafion-PTFE hollow fiber composite membranes for improvement of anti-fouling and anti-wetting properties in vacuum membrane distillation

Sha Yu et al.

Summary: Nafion-PTFE hollow fiber composite membranes show excellent anti-fouling and anti-wetting performance in vacuum membrane distillation, exhibiting stable flux and high salt rejection. The composite membrane improves anti-fouling properties and alleviates wetting phenomena caused by surfactants, with a pressure depression factor decreasing with increasing feed temperature.

Single-Atom Sites on MXenes for Energy Conversion and Storage

Yanglansen Cui et al.

Summary: Single-atom sites on MXenes, known as SASs-MXenes, have been widely studied for energy storage and conversion applications due to their high atom utilization efficiency and unique properties. These SASs-MXenes can tune the kinetics and thermodynamics of various catalytic reactions, such as hydrogen evolution, nitrogen reduction, CO2 reduction, and other redox reactions, making them promising for future developments in rechargeable batteries.
