Revisiting the gender job satisfaction paradox: The roots seem to run deep

Summary: Using the Canadian General Social Survey of 2016, this article estimates the gender job satisfaction gap and finds that women have higher job satisfaction in the aggregate sample, but the gap becomes statistically insignificant among the youngest and most educated workers when the sample is partitioned by age and educational attainment. Additionally, including subjectively experienced intrinsic job rewards eliminates the statistical significance of the gender job satisfaction gap across all age groups and educational attainment levels, except for those with a graduate university degree where the gap is reversed in favor of men.

Cost-benefit Analysis of Cochlear Implants: A Societal Perspective
