Green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using Hagenia abyssinica (Bruce) JF Gmel plant leaf extract and their antibacterial and anti-oxidant activities

Summary: The green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using Hagenia Abyssinica plant leaf extract was successfully achieved through bio-reduction of silver nitrate. Characterization techniques such as UV-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, and XRD analysis confirmed the structure and activities of the synthesized AgNPs. The AgNPs showed antimicrobial and antioxidant activities, indicating potential applications in water treatment, biomedicine, and nanotechnology.
