A highly efficient and stable TiO2@NH2-MIL-125 material for enhanced photocatalytic conversion of CO2 and CH4

Yufei Huang et al.

Summary: A novel composite catalyst TiO2/NH2-MIL-125 was used for the photocatalytic conversion of CO2 with CH4 under visible-light irradiation, achieving rapid conversion at room temperature with excellent stability. Various characterization techniques were employed to study the structure, morphology, and photoelectric chemical properties of the photocatalyst, and the relationship between material properties and CO2 conversion catalytic performance was discussed. A possible catalytic mechanism for the photocatalytic conversion of CO2 by NH2-MIL-125@TiO2 hybrid materials was proposed.

Hierarchically ordered macroporous TiO2 architecture via self-assembled strategy for environmental remediation

S. Athithya et al.

Summary: Hierarchically ordered macroporous TiO2 architecture (HOMTA) was prepared with the assistance of ethylenediamine (EDA), where different concentrations of EDA led to varying morphologies. The obtained HOMTA was used as a photocatalyst and active photoanode in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC), showing higher efficiency for EDA-capped TiO2 with a higher surface area.
