Design and Analysis of a Snake-Inspired Crawling Robot Driven by Alterable Angle Scales

Donghua Shen et al.

Summary: A crawling robot with alterable angle scales and an autonomous vibrating valve is proposed, allowing the robot to crawl forward and backward by controlling the rotation of the scales and air pressure. Experimental results show that increasing the driving pressure can improve the crawling speed of the robot.
