Bond characteristics, sintering behavior and microwave dielectric properties of Ce2[Zr1-x(Ca1/3Sb2/3)x]3(MoO4)9 ceramics

Summary: In this study, CZ(1-x)(CS)(x)M ceramics were prepared by solid-state reaction method, and the correlations between chemical bond parameters and microwave dielectric properties were analyzed using the P-V-L theory. Excellent properties were obtained for Ce-2[Zr-0.96(Ca1/3Sb2/3)(0.004)](3)(MoO4)(9) ceramic sintered at 775 degrees C, with an ε(r) of 10.68, Qxf of 85,336 GHz, and τf of -7.58 ppm/°C.

The results showed that Ce-2[Zr-0.94(Al1/2Ta1/2)(0.06)](3)(MoO4)(9) exhibited excellent dielectric properties at 850℃.

Summary: In this study, Pr-2(Zr1-xTix)(3)(MoO4)(9) ceramics were prepared by a solid-state method, and the influence of crystal structure and bond characteristics on microwave dielectric properties was systematically investigated. The results showed that the increase of Ti4+ content led to a reduction in lattice volume and improved microwave dielectric properties. Therefore, optimizing the Ti4+ content and controlling bond characteristics can enhance the microwave dielectric performance of the ceramics.

Summary: Microwave dielectric ceramics with excellent properties such as high quality factor, low sintering temperature, small density, and good temperature stability were achieved by incorporating (Cu1/3Nb2/3)(4+) substitution and 3 wt % H3BO3 addition in Li2TiO3. The resulting LTCN0.2 + 3 wt % H3BO3 materials showed promising applications for SG mobile communication devices and low-temperature co-fired ceramic technology. Additionally, they were chemically compatible with silver and exhibited high simulated radiation efficiencies and gains in patch antenna and dielectric resonator antenna designs.

Structure, chemical bond and microwave dielectric characteristics of novel Li3Mg4NbO8 ceramics

Summary: A novel Li3Mg4NbO8 compound with an orthorhombic crystal structure resembling Li3Mg2NbO6 was fabricated through solid-state reaction. The microwave dielectric properties of Li3Mg4NbO8 ceramics were found to be strongly influenced by density and ionic polarization. Ceramics sintered at 1150°C showed excellent microwave dielectric performance with ε(r) = 13.8 +/- 0.14, Q x f = 103 400 +/- 3500 GHz (at 9.6 GHz), and Tau(f) = -36.0 +/- 1 ppm/°C. Bond characteristics were also calculated for a better understanding of the structure-property correlation for Li3Mg4NbO8 ceramics.
