Bacillus tequilensis strain 'UPMRB9' improves biochemical attributes and nutrient accumulation in different rice varieties under salinity stress

Summary: This study screened potential salt-tolerant plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and found that two promising strains, 'UPMRB9' and 'UPMRE6', could improve biochemical attributes and nutrient uptake in rice plants under salinity stress. These indigenous salt-tolerant PGPR strains show promise as bio-augmentors for enhancing rice productivity in saline conditions and could serve as a basis for future large-scale trials under controlled environments.
