Non-destructive determination of four tea polyphenols in fresh tea using visible and near-infrared spectroscopy

Summary: This study collected spectral data of tea samples and physical and chemical values of tea polyphenols to establish different prediction models. The results showed that the LS-SVM model based on SPA was the most suitable for detecting tea polyphenols. The research demonstrated that visible-near infrared spectroscopy can be used to rapidly detect the content of tea polyphenols in tea.
