Recent climate and hydrological changes in a mountain-basin system in Xinjiang, China

Junqiang Yao et al.

Summary: Xinjiang, China, has experienced significant warming and moistening climate changes, leading to increases in precipitation and warm extremes, as well as decreases in cold extremes. These climate changes have resulted in glacier shrinkage, decreased snow cover, increased river runoff, and potential adverse ecological effects.

Holarctic Species in the Pluteus romellii Clade. Five New Species Described and Old Names Reassessed

Hana Sevcikova et al.

Summary: This study focused on the taxonomy of Pluteus romellii and morphologically similar species in the romellii clade of section Celluloderma. Morphological and molecular data were used to identify and classify these species. Several new species were discovered, and the current classification status of several other species was discussed.

Variability and distribution of Pluteus luteus, a later synonym of P. variabilicolor

Hana Sevcikova et al.

Summary: This study morphologically and molecularly analyzed the type specimen of Pluteus luteus, confirming it as a synonym of P. variabilicolor. The distribution of P. variabilicolor as a species native to Europe and Asia was summarized, including the first collection from Slovakia and the second report from the Republic of Korea (South Korea).

Two new psathyrelloid species of Coprinopsis (Agaricales, Psathyrellaceae) from China

Gu Rao et al.

Summary: This study introduced Coprinopsis jilinensis and Coprinopsis pusilla based on their morphological characteristics and molecular sequences. They were found to have different pileus colors, spore morphology, and growth environments. A comprehensive description of C. sect. Melanthinae and an identification key to 14 psathyrelloid species of Coprinopsis were provided. The phylogenetic position of psathyrelloid species of Coprinopsis and the confusing species Psathyrella subagraria were discussed.
