Full-visible-spectrum perovskite quantum dots by anion exchange resin assisted synthesis

Chenhui Wang et al.

Summary: In this study, full-visible-spectrum all-inorganic perovskite quantum dots (IPQDs) were successfully synthesized using an environmentally friendly ion-exchange approach with a renewable and low-cost anion exchange resin. The introduction of the anion exchange resin improved the optical performance and surface morphology of the IPQDs. The emission wavelength of the IPQDs could be controlled without changing their crystal phase, and IPQDs with poor morphology and unstable structure could be selectively removed. The photoluminescence quantum yield and fluorescence lifetime of the IPQDs were dramatically improved. This research provides new ideas for the environmentally friendly and sustainable synthesis of IPQDs, and shows great potential in the display field.
