Towards improving the optoelectronics properties of MAPbI3(1-x)B3x/ZnO heterojunction by bromine doping

Khawla Fradi et al.

Summary: In this study, MAPbI(3(1-x))B(3x) thin films with different percentages were successfully prepared and the optoelectronic properties and stability were improved by doping bromide ions. The appropriate bromine content led to a uniform perovskite film with larger grain size, a band gap between 1.55 and 2.1 eV, and a photoluminescent emission spectrum ranging from 538 nm to 780 nm.

The Role of the Graphene Oxide (GO) and Reduced Graphene Oxide (RGO) Intermediate Layer in CZTSSe Thin-Film Solar Cells

Woo-Lim Jeong et al.

Summary: The insertion of an intermediate layer between the CZTSSe absorber film and the Mo back contact in Cu2ZnSn(S,Se)(4) (CZTSSe) solar cells has been demonstrated to enhance conversion efficiency. Among the candidates for this intermediate layer, chemically reduced graphene oxide (GO) showed excellent properties, such as high-charge mobility and low processing cost.

Controlling the Treatment Time for Ideal Morphology towards Efficient Organic Solar Cells

Yiwen Hou et al.

Summary: This work systematically compares the effects of different durations of solvent vapor annealing (SVA) treatment on state-of-the-art PM6:SY1 blend film. The study investigates the impact of insufficient, appropriate, and over-treatment on the active layer, and achieves a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of up to 17.57% in the optimized system, surpassing previous counterparts. The research highlights the importance of post-treatment delicacy, thin-film morphology, and device performance.

Rational Anode Engineering Enables Progresses for Different Types of Organic Solar Cells

Ruijie Ma et al.

Summary: Anode modification is crucial for enhancing the performance of organic solar cells (OSCs), with various doped hole transport layers (HTLs) showing improved work functions and conductivities. The study demonstrates that different adulterants formed varying hydrogen bonds in HTLs, resulting in different interfacial morphology and mobility, affecting recombination differently. The doping strategy extends to a high-performance system, achieving a significant efficiency increase in all-polymer solar cells.
