Novel enzymatic graphene oxide based biosensor for the detection of glutathione in biological body fluids

Core-shell structured polyaniline/polypyrrole composites promoted methane production from anaerobic sludge

Summary: The study demonstrated that the core-shell structured PPy@PANI has good performance in enhancing methane production from anaerobic wastewater treatment, with significant improvements in methane production rate and yield. The optimal dosage was found to be 0.6 g/L, which resulted in a high methane production rate. The mechanisms behind the enhanced methane production rate were attributed to PPy@PANI enriching functional microorganisms and enhancing organic degradation and electron transfer.

Electrochemical sensor based on Ti3C2 membrane doped with U10-66-NH2 for dopamine

The fabricated Ti3C2 membrane/GCE sensor exhibited excellent electrochemical performance and mechanical properties. Magnetic-MXene-based nanocomposites for water and wastewater treatment: A review

Summary: The increase in pollutants released into water resources, such as hazardous refractory contaminations, organic dyes, pharmaceutical and pesticide contaminants, due to population growth and global industrialization, has become a major health issue worldwide. Magnetic MXene nanocomposites, which possess unique properties, easy production, low-cost preparation, and excellent pollutant degradation abilities, show great promise for various applications including biosensors, cancer theragnostic, imaging strategies, and particularly water treatment. This paper provides a review of the use of magnetic-MXene nanocomposites for removing contaminants from aqueous environments, discussing the concept of magnetic nanomaterials in water treatment, MXene applications and implications for water and wastewater pollutant degradation, and the role of magnetic-MXene nanocomposites in water treatment. Future trends in MXene and magnetic-MXene nanomaterials for water treatment and environmental applications are also discussed.
