Co-hydroprocessing of straight-run gasoil - Rapeseed oil mixture over stacked bed Mo/Al2O3 + NiMo/Al2O3-SAPO-11 catalysts

E. N. Vlasova et al.

Summary: The co-hydroprocessing of SRGO and RSO mixture over the stacked bed sulfide catalytic system showed that temperature and pressure had a significant impact on product quality and n-C18H38 conversion. Increasing temperature from 350°C to 380°C led to a decrease in cloud point due to higher n-C18H38 conversion, while increasing pressure from 4.0 MPa to 7.0 MPa decreased n-C18H38 conversion. The presence of NH3 was found to inhibit hydrocracking/hydroisomerization reactions in the co-processing of RSO-SRGO mixtures.

Co-processing of rapeseed oil - straight run gas oil mixture: Comparative study of sulfide CoMo/Al2O3-SAPO-11 and NiMo/Al2O3-SAPO-11 catalysts

Summary: The co-processing of RSO-SRGO mixture over Mo/Al2O3-CoMo/Al2O3-SAPO-11 and Mo/Al2O3-NiMo/Al2O3-SAPO-11 catalytic systems resulted in decreased cloud point of products as temperature increased, with differences observed in the behavior under varying pressure. The hydrogenated products produced over NiMo/Al2O3-SAP showed lower final boiling point values and aromatic content compared to those produced over CoMo/Al2O3-SAP catalyst. Unexpectedly, pressure had varied effects on cloud point and conversion of long chain alkanes in the hydrodeoxygenation of RSO.
