Graphitic carbon nitride-supported cobalt oxides as a potential catalyst for decomposition of N2O

Xiaobo Hu et al.

Summary: The cobalt oxide catalyst supported on graphitic carbon nitride exhibited superior activity in decomposing N2O compared to other catalysts. The excellent performance was attributed to the high surface Co2+ content, massive surface oxygen species, and facile electron transfer characteristics of the catalyst. Additionally, the synergistic effects among active species also contributed to the catalyst's high efficiency.

The Effect of Degrees of Inversion on the Electronic Structure of Spinel NiCo2O4: A Density Functional Theory Study

Tzu-Chien Chang et al.

Summary: This study investigates the electronic properties of NiCo2O4 by swapping Ni and Co atoms on tetrahedral sites, showing changes in electronic properties, while no influence is observed on octahedral sites. The results are compared with crystal field theory, providing insights into cation distribution predictions in NiCo2O4.
