Stochastic optimal scheduling of demand response-enabled microgrids with renewable generations: An analytical-heuristic approach

Yang Li et al.

Summary: In this paper, a bi-level scheduling model is proposed for isolated microgrids, and a hybrid analysis-heuristic solution method called Jaya-IPM is developed by combining Jaya algorithm and interior point method. The test results show that the proposed method can coordinate the uncertainty of renewable generations with demand response strategies, while improving the net revenue of the microgrid and reducing user costs.

Privacy-Preserving Spatiotemporal Scenario Generation of Renewable Energies: A Federated Deep Generative Learning Approach

Yang Li et al.

Summary: This article proposes a novel federated deep generative learning framework, Fed-LSGAN, for generating high-quality scenarios in power systems with high-penetration renewables. The framework integrates federated learning and least square generative adversarial networks (LSGANs) to achieve privacy-preserving scenario generation and improve generation quality using the least squares loss function.

Optimal Scheduling of Integrated Demand Response-Enabled Community-Integrated Energy Systems in Uncertain Environments

Yang Li et al.

Summary: In this study, a scheduling model based on chance-constrained programming is proposed to improve the operational economy of the community-integrated energy system (CIES). By coordinating integrated demand response (IDR) and renewable uncertainties, and adopting power to gas (P2G) and microgas turbine (MT) technologies, operational flexibility and user satisfaction can be enhanced.

A framework for GIS-based site selection and technical potential evaluation of PV solar farm using Fuzzy-Boolean logic and AHP multi-criteria decision-making approach

Younes Noorollahi et al.

Summary: This study uses Fuzzy-Boolean logic and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) decision analysis based on GIS to locate and evaluate the potential of a photovoltaic solar power plant in Khuzestan province. The optimal locations are selected based on criteria such as climate, economy, topography, and environment. The results show that only a small percentage of the province's total area is suitable for installing a photovoltaic system. The study also calculates the annual power generation potential using different types of silicon panels and identifies the most suitable areas in the province.

The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE) and the principal component analysis (PCA) model simulation and its applications in water quality assessment of Nansi Lake Basin, China

Shiguo Xu et al.

Summary: The study utilized FCE and PCA to assess water quality in the Nansi Lake Basin, China, finding that water quality was better in spring and summer compared to autumn and winter, with Zhaoyang Lake and Nanyang Lake having the best water quality. The research also identified heavy metals as the most important pollutants affecting water quality in the region.
