Effect of cement-to-tailings ratio and flow rate on the wear performance of filling pipeline

Yingying Wang et al.

Summary: Pipeline wear is a common issue in filling mines, and it is influenced by the cement-to-tailings ratio and flow rate of the filling slurry. A pipeline wear loop test system was developed to investigate the effects of different ratios and rates on wear. The results show that wear rate decreases with higher mass concentration and increases with increased flow rate, with the cement-to-tailings ratio significantly affecting wear rate at high flow rates. Mathematical models were established to describe the relationships between wear rate and slurry mass concentration, as well as between wear rate and flow rate, revealing the influence mechanism of cement-to-tailings ratio, mass concentration, and flow rate on block wear through the movement of solid particles.

Development, Application and Challenges of Set Pair Analysis in Environmental Science from 1989 to 2020: A Bibliometric Review

Weiqi Xiang et al.

Summary: This paper studies the development, application, and challenges of set pair analysis in environmental science over the past 32 years. The analysis reveals that the development process of set pair analysis can be divided into three stages: initial stage, rapid development stage, and steady development stage. The algorithm is mainly used for environmental assessment, diagnosis, and prediction, with the development of partial connection numbers being a new research trend. However, there are still deficiencies in set pair analysis, such as subjectivity, an imperfect theoretical system, and unbalanced development, which need to be solved in order to promote its further development in environmental science.

Deformation Analysis of an Ultra-High Arch Dam under Different Water Level Conditions Based on Optimized Dynamic Panel Clustering

Yongtao Liu et al.

Summary: During the operation period, the deformation of an ultra-high arch dam is affected by the large fluctuation of the reservoir water level. The panel data clustering theory is used to construct a spatio-temporal characteristic model of dam deformation, and three displacement component indexes are proposed to characterize dam deformation. The objective weight coefficient of clustering comprehensive distance is calculated to optimize the panel clustering deformation model. The zoning rules of the ultra-high arch dam are established using the CSP index, and the complex water level of the reservoir is simulated. Finally, the dynamic cluster analysis of dam deformation is realized.

Risk Assessment Model Based on Set Pair Analysis Applied to Airport Bird Strikes

Rui Wang et al.

Summary: This study constructs a risk assessment index system for bird strikes at airports from five perspectives and uses the AHP and entropy weight method to obtain comprehensive weights. The SPA is introduced to establish a bird strike risk assessment model and analyze the risk trend. The results show that the weighting method is accurate and the model can predict the risk trend effectively.

Proposing a novel comprehensive evaluation model for the coal burst liability in underground coal mines considering uncertainty factors

Jian Zhou et al.

Summary: A robust unascertained combination model is proposed to study coal burst hazard in underground coal mines, incorporating four assessment indexes, four membership functions, and weights determined through information entropy, analysis hierarchy process, and synthetic weights. The model is validated with test samples showing 100% accuracy, indicating its potential for coal burst hazard evaluation in underground coal mines.
