Summary: The research aims to estimate the potential impact of climate change on sea level rise and its vulnerability to coastal habitat. The findings show an increasing trend of sea level rise from the base period to the projected period, particularly in the major port city of India. By quantitatively estimating physical environmental characteristics including geomorphology, sea level change, coastal slope, relative sea-level change, mean wave height, mean tide range, shoreline change rate, land use and human activities, and population, a qualitative coastal vulnerability index (CVI) is developed. The projected sea level rise is increasing at the highest rate under the higher Representative Concentrations Pathways (RCP) scenario. This information is valuable for decision-makers in formulating appropriate development strategies for sustainable coastal ecology in India.

Summary: This article examines the manifestations of cognitive strategies and emotional regulation among teachers. The study involves 64 teachers with different academic backgrounds and teaching at different faculties. The findings suggest that age plays a role in shaping cognitive strategies and emotional self-regulation of teachers. Cognitive strategies and expressive suppression of emotions are associated with different qualities of teachers. Adequate self-regulation of emotion is more significantly related to cognitive strategy than expressive suppression. The study also reveals correlations between cognitive reappraisal and personality traits, as well as emotional intelligence and resilience among teachers.

Summary: As the smallest livelihood unit in rural areas, farmers face multiple risks, and their rational responses to these risks are crucial for the sustainable development of rural areas. Using household survey data, this paper analyzes farmers' livelihood risk coping strategies and identifies key factors through a binary logistic model. The findings show that 92.80% of farmers experience multiple livelihood risks, with family capacity building risk, health risk, and social risk being the main ones. When confronted with multiple risks, farmers prioritize health risks and place less importance on family capacity building and social risks. Factors for coping preferences vary across different risks, with human and social capital playing significant roles. The paper concludes with countermeasures and suggestions to guide farmers in coping with livelihood risks.
