Huffmanela sp. (Nematoda: Trichosomoididae: Huffmanelinae) encountered in the whitecheek shark (Carcharhinus dussumieri) in the Arabian Gulf

Summary: The study in Saudi Arabia revealed the presence of Huffmanela sp. parasites in whitecheek sharks caught off the western side of the Arabian Gulf, showing a seasonal variation in infection rates. This is the first report of Huffmanela sp. in the whitecheek sharks in the EI-Jubail Province, Saudi Arabia, Arabian Gulf.
