HKLL bulk reconstruction for small Δ

Sinya Aoki et al.

Summary: We discuss the extension of the HKLL bulk reconstruction for non-interacting scalar fields with conformal weights increment smaller than the original condition. We provide explicit formulas for different cases and analyze the smearing requirements.

Rindler bulk reconstruction and subregion duality in AdS/CFT

Sotaro Sugishita et al.

Summary: In this paper, the AdS-Rindler reconstruction is studied and it is found that the tachyonic modes in this reconstruction lead to issues related to quantum gravity and the existence of null geodesics.

Bulk locality in the AdS/CFT correspondence

Seiji Terashima

Summary: In this paper, we investigate the bulk local states in the AdS/CFT correspondence in the large N limit using a formula explicitly relating the bulk local operators and the conformal field theory (CFT) local operators. We find that the bulk local state corresponds to a CFT state supported in the whole space, and on the other hand, CFT states supported in a space region are expressed in terms of the bulk states supported in a certain region. Despite resolving the puzzles of radial locality, the quantum error correction proposal is not realized in our analysis. An explicit realization of an analog of the Reeh-Schlieder theorem plays a crucial role in understanding the bulk local states.

A note on commutation relation in conformal field theory

Lento Nagano et al.

Summary: This note computes the vacuum expectation value of the commutator of scalar fields in a d-dimensional conformal field theory on the cylinder, finding the need for smearing in both space and time to ensure finite commutators. For non-free conformal field theories, equal time commutators of scalar fields are not well-defined, even if defined from the Lagrangian. The findings also apply to conformal field theories on Minkowski space when taking the small distance limit.
