Multi-feature Fusion Method Based on Linear Neighborhood Propagation Predict Plant LncRNA-Protein Interactions

Lijuan Jia et al.

Summary: In this study, a multi-feature fusion method called MPLPLNP is developed to predict plant unobserved lncRNA-protein interaction pairs. The experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms other state-of-the-art approaches and has better performance and generalization ability on various plant datasets.

DNRLCNN: A CNN Framework for Identifying MiRNA-Disease Associations Using Latent Feature Matrix Extraction with Positive Samples

Jiancheng Zhong et al.

Summary: miRNAs have strong relationships with human diseases, and studying these associations can provide insights into the activities of miRNAs and pathogenesis mechanisms, as well as new opportunities for disease diagnosis and drug discovery. This paper proposes a convolutional neural network framework called DNRLCNN, which uses a latent feature matrix extracted from positive samples to predict miRNA-disease associations. The model outperforms other state-of-the-art methods in predicting associations and has been validated on two human diseases.

A graph auto-encoder model for miRNA-disease associations prediction

Zhengwei Li et al.

Summary: The abnormal expression of miRNAs is associated with the evolution and progression of various human complex diseases. Identifying disease-related miRNAs as new biomarkers can promote the development of disease pathology and clinical medicine. Designing biological experiments to validate disease-related miRNAs is usually time-consuming and expensive, highlighting the need for effective computational methods to predict potential miRNA-disease associations.

Cytoplasmic DROSHA and non-canonical mechanisms of MiR-155 biogenesis in FLT3-ITD acute myeloid leukemia

Le Xuan Truong Nguyen et al.

Summary: FLT3-ITD interferes with miRNAs biogenesis in AML blasts, particularly miR-126 and miR-155, promoting leukemia cell proliferation. Through inhibition of XPO5/RAN-GTP complex, FLT3-ITD upregulates miR-155 via non-canonical biogenesis pathway.
