Research on a nondestructive model for the detection of the nitrogen content of tomato

Xiaodong Zhang et al.

Summary: In this study, the THz spectral information of tomato plant leaves with different nitrogen levels was obtained, and a model for the detection of the nitrogen content of tomato based on the THz spectrum was established. The results showed that the accuracy of the model established by the RBFNN algorithm was slightly higher. Therefore, THz spectroscopy can be used to detect the nitrogen content of tomato leaves.

A Rapid Detection Method for Fungal Spores from Greenhouse Crops Based on CMOS Image Sensors and Diffraction Fingerprint Feature Processing

Yafei Wang et al.

Summary: This study proposes a rapid detection method for fungal spores from greenhouse crops based on CMOS image sensors and diffraction fingerprint feature processing. The method utilizes logistic regression, K nearest neighbor, random forest, and support vector machine classification models to classify the spores. The results show that the SVM model has the best overall classification performance, with an average accuracy rate of 92.72%.

Study on the Spectral Characteristics of Plant Growth Regulators Based on the Structure Difference of Terahertz Metamaterial Sensor

Xiaoxue Du et al.

Summary: In this study, a method using terahertz combined with metamaterial sensors was proposed to detect plant growth regulators, aiming to solve the problems of low sensitivity and complex sample pretreatment in traditional detection. Two different structured metamaterial sensors were designed and analyzed for their differences in frequency domain, time domain, and absorption characteristics in detecting plant growth regulators. The results showed that both metamaterial sensors effectively detected the four plant growth regulator solutions with concentrations as low as 0.05 mg/L. In terms of detection and sensing, metamaterial sensor 2 outperformed metamaterial sensor 1 in terms of frequency shift, sensitivity, figure of merit value, vibration amplitude, and change rate of absorption intensity, demonstrating better detection performance. However, in terms of sample identification, metamaterial sensor 1 was more suitable for identifying daminozide and naphthaleneacetic acid solutions, while metamaterial sensor 2 was more suitable for detecting glyphosine and gibberellic acid solutions. This study provides a new method for multi-target fusion to detect plant growth regulators with high sensitivity and accuracy.

Cucumber powdery mildew detection method based on hyperspectra-terahertz

Xiaodong Zhang et al.

Summary: This study explores the use of information technology in detecting crop diseases, and proposes a method based on hyperspectral-terahertz technology for detecting cucumber powdery mildew. The research focuses on the effective establishment of hyperspectral data, spectral preprocessing, feature wavelength selection, and discriminant model establishment. Additionally, the study also investigates the preprocessing of terahertz data, the screening of terahertz effective spectrum, and the establishment of a sparse representation classification model. The findings demonstrate that the detection of cucumber powdery mildew can be achieved using hyperspectral and terahertz technology.
