Large-Area Perovskite-Related Copper Halide Film for High-Resolution Flexible X-ray Imaging Scintillation Screens

Summary: Flexible copper halide films with outstanding mechanical stability, excellent film uniformity, nearly 100% photo-luminescence quantum yields, and resistance to water and heat were fabricated. Scintillators based on these films exhibit superior scintillation performance with a detection limit as low as 48.6 nGy/s and 17 lp/mm X-ray imaging resolution, representing the highest imaging resolution for powder-based screens.

Efficient and self-healing copper halide Cs3Cu2Cl5 film assisted by microwave treatment for high-resolution X-ray imaging

Summary: Lead-free Cs3Cu2Cl5 metal halide is a potential scintillator material with high photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY), but it is susceptible to degradation by moisture. In this study, a self-healing strategy using microwave treatment is proposed to repair the crystal structure of Cs3Cu2Cl5 film damaged by moisture. The photoluminescence and radioluminescence intensities, as well as the spatial resolution, can be restored to a high level.

In Situ Fabrication of Cs3Cu2I5: Tl Nanocrystal Films for High-Resolution and Ultrastable X-ray Imaging
