Adaptive Fusion of Multi-Source Tropospheric Delay Estimates for InSAR Deformation Measurements

Li Zhang et al.

Summary: Atmospheric propagation delay correction is crucial for improving the accuracy of deformation measurement in satellite InSAR. In this study, an adaptive fusion of multi-source tropospheric delay (AFMTD) method is proposed to refine and combine delay estimates from multiple weather models. The AFMTD method outperforms single models in tropospheric delay correction for InSAR, leading to more reliable deformation monitoring.

Twenty years of coal mining-induced subsidence in the Upper Silesia in Poland identified using InSAR

Maria Przylucka et al.

Summary: The study presents the results of terrain subsidence monitoring in Poland's Upper Silesian Coal Basin (USCB) mining area using DInSAR and PSI techniques. By combining various datasets and processing methods, a map of subsidence areas covering 3045 square kilometers was obtained, providing valuable long-term information on the impact of mining activities.

Land subsidence induced by underground coal mining at Quang Ninh, Vietnam: persistent scatterer interferometric synthetic aperture radar observation using Sentinel-1 data

Vu Khac Dang et al.

Summary: The PSInSAR approach was used to monitor land subsidence caused by underground coal mining in Ha Long and Cam Pha cities. The study found that specific areas in these cities have experienced significant land subsidence, impacting local houses, infrastructure, and natural features.
