Control of Dielectric and Mechanical Properties of Styrenic Block Copolymer by Graphite Incorporation

Florin Ciuprina et al.

Summary: This paper studies the control, improvement, and correlation of the mechanical and dielectric properties of SEBS and SEBS-MA by using graphite as filler in various concentrations. The results show that the real permittivity increases exponentially with the concentration of graphite, and the dielectric losses are low with high stability at high graphite content. Additionally, an increase in graphite content also leads to an increase in the mechanical stiffness of the composites.
