All-inorganic perovskite quantum dots-based electrospun polyacrylonitrile fiber for ultra-sensitive trace-recording

Summary: All-inorganic dual-phase CsPbBr3-Cs4PbBr6 quantum dots-based polyacrylonitrile fiber synthesized by supersaturated recrystallization and electrospinning technique possesses characteristics of homogeneous morphology, high crystallinity and solution sensitivity. Under laser excitation, the fiber exhibits surprising trace-recording capability attributing to the splash-enhanced fluorescence performance. During the splashing process, the fiber shows blue and green emission when in contact with ethanol anhydrous and water, and maintains for more than 4 months.

Luminescent Nanomaterials for Energy-Efficient Display and Healthcare

Summary: Luminescent quantum dots (QDs) and perovskite nanocrystals (PNCs) show great potential in advanced displays and light sources. They have been widely used in photoluminescence (PL)-based displays through color enhancement films and color converters. While QDs and PNCs are still being developed for electroluminescence (EL) devices, their applications in healthcare could accelerate their adoption. This paper analyzes QD color-conversion displays and the fabrication of efficient and stable PNC-polymer composites, and introduces the potential application of flexible QD light-emitting devices in healthcare. The challenges and future perspectives of utilizing QDs and PNCs in PL displays and QDs in EL applications in healthcare are discussed.

Summary: This study reports a preparation method of MXene-based magnetic nanohybrid coating for flexible electronic applications. The MXene and iron oxide hybrid coated with carbon dot-triggered photopolymerized polynorepinepherene (PNE) was deposited on cellulose microporous membrane using a vacuum-assisted filtration strategy. The coated membranes showed good flexibility and mechanical strength in tensile testing, along with excellent electrical conductivity and EMI shielding performance.

Summary: This study presents a facile and environmentally friendly method for synthesizing carbon quantum dots from dill leaves, which are used as initiators for polymerization and demonstrated for the first time in the photopolymerization of poly(norepinephrine). The factorial design method identified monomer concentration and UV exposure time as the key factors in the polymerization process, and the resulting polymer was extensively characterized. A composite catalyst was fabricated using UV-triggered polymerization, showing promising performance in catalyzing 4-NP reduction. The catalyst also displayed high reusability and was evaluated for continuous flow catalytic reactions, paving the way for the development of new catalysts.
