Summary: Documentation is crucial for communication between nutrition and dietetics practitioners and other healthcare providers. However, there is a lack of validated tool to evaluate the quality of documentation in the Nutrition Care Process (NCP). This study aims to revise an existing NCP audit tool and evaluate its effectiveness within the US Veterans Affairs. The results show that the NCP-QUEST tool has high content validity and reliability.

Summary: This study examined the alignment between registered dietitian nutritionists' documented nutrition care and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' evidence-based nutrition practice guidelines for diabetes. The results showed that most of the guideline recommendations were implemented, particularly those related to improving glycemic control. However, a midpoint training on the guidelines did not have any impact on the alignment of care.

Impact of Diabetes Prevention Guideline Adoption on Health Outcomes: A Pragmatic Implementation Trial

This study investigated the effects of guideline training on implementing the diabetes prevention EBNPG and its relationship with health outcomes in prediabetes patients. Further research is needed to explore the impact of evidence-based guidelines across different practice areas.
