Summary: A tablet-based quantitative dietary intake tool was developed and used to survey the dietary intakes of rural children and peri-urban adults living with HIV in Tanzania. The tool provided valuable insights into meal structures, meal patterns, and nutrient intake in different populations. Further validation is needed, but the tool shows promise for collecting large samples of dietary intakes for research purposes.
