Prevalence of burnout among GPs: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Summary: This study reviewed the existing literature on burnout among general practitioners (GPs) and determined the prevalence of GP burnout worldwide. The results showed that moderate to high levels of burnout exist among GPs globally, but there is considerable heterogeneity in the prevalence estimates due to variations in how burnout is characterized and operationalized.

A bottom-up approach was taken to define the central themes and relevant outcomes of the intervention. The intervention involved structured stakeholder dialogues to discuss health issues identified by employees in a male-dominated workplace. The results showed that the dialogue intervention contributed to changes at individual, team, and organizational levels, advancing the understanding of factors contributing to high workload and mental health. The evaluation of the intervention also led to actions being taken at an organizational level.

Prediction of suicidal ideation risk in a prospective cohort study of medical interns

Overlap of burnout-depression symptoms among Chinese neurology graduate students in a national cross-sectional study

Depression and suicidal ideation among dental students of Southern Saudi Arabia: A cross sectional study
