Importance of entropy generation on Casson, Micropolar and Hybrid magneto-nanofluids in a suspension of cross diffusion

S. Mamatha Upadhya et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow, heat, and mass transport of hybrid nanofluid, Casson fluid, and micropolar fluid across a curved stretching sheet. The effects of radiation, cross-diffusion, and magnetic field are also examined. Numerical solutions are obtained and compared with previously published results, revealing that the hybrid nanofluid has a higher temperature profile and the micropolar fluid exhibits higher entropy generation compared to the Casson and hybrid nanofluid. The fluid velocity increases with larger magnetic field and curvature parameter.

Impact of Soret and Dufour on MHD Casson fluid flow past a stretching surface with convective-diffusive conditions

A. C. Venkata Ramudu et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the impact of magnetohydrodynamic Casson fluid flow across a convective surface with cross diffusion, chemical reaction, and non-linear radiative heat. By converting the governing flow equations into non-dimensional form, the research found that an increase in Sorret number leads to a decrease in temperature and an increase in concentration, while the Dufour number has a negative impact. Additionally, an intensification of the non-linear radiative parameter results in a decrement in Nusselt number and an enhancement in Sherwood number.

Radiated magnetic flow in a suspension of ferrous nanoparticles over a cone with brownian motion and thermophoresis

Hu Ge-JiLe et al.

Summary: This study investigates the flow, heat and mass transfer behavior of magnetohydrodynamic radiated ferrofluid flow caused by a cone in the presence of non-uniform heat source/sink. It is found that mixing of magnetic nanoparticles with water at different temperatures results in different friction factor coefficients, heat transfer rates and mass transfer rates. Depending on industrial applications, either heating or cooling processes using specific temperature mixtures of magnetic nanoparticles with water can be utilized.

A Comparative Study of Natural Convection Flow of Fractional Maxwell Fluid with Uniform Heat Flux and Radiation

Ruihua Tang et al.

Summary: This paper focuses on the comparative study of natural convection flow of fractional Maxwell fluid with uniform heat flux and radiation. The well-known Maxwell fluid equation with an integer-order derivative has been extended to a non-integer-order derivative using two fractional derivative concepts. The explicit expression for temperature and velocity is obtained by utilizing Laplace transform technique, and the effects of certain embedded factors and fractional parameters on temperature and velocity profiles are graphically presented using Mathcad programming.
