Machine learning of superconducting critical temperature from Eliashberg theory

S. R. Xie et al.

Summary: The Eliashberg theory of superconductivity explains the fundamental physics of conventional superconductors and machine learning techniques can improve the existing formulas for predicting critical temperature. These improvements are particularly effective for higher temperature superconductors.

Superconducting Phase Induced by a Local Structure Transition in Amorphous Sb2Se3 under High Pressure

Kai Zhang et al.

Summary: Superconductivity and density in amorphous Sb2Se3 at high pressure show a clear correlation, with superconductivity first emerging in the high-density amorphous (HDA) phase and exhibiting an enhanced critical temperature when pressure induces crystallization. Ab initio simulations reveal the formation of bcc-like local geometry motifs in the HDA phase, which are critical for the incipient superconductive behavior.
